HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers)

HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers), protect polymers
by delaying the negative effects of UV light and weathering, avoiding the process of photodegradation that
occurs when UV radiation from the sun or artificial light breaks the chemical bonds in a polymer, eventually causing cracks, color changes and loss of physical properties in polyolefins and PVC. They are recommended for use in applications that require exposure to sunlight and other UV light sources such as agricultural and greenhouse polyolefin films
for flexible and semi-rigid PVC applications, is also used for various surface coatings.
Benzophenones are used in polyolefins, unsaturated polyesters, PVC, thermoplastic polyesters and acrylics.
Benzotriazoles are used in polystyrene, ABS, polycarbonate and thermosetting polyester.
HALS impart excellent light stability for olefinic materials, particularly fibers and films

We have UV absorbers and HALS of the brand UV-Check® from our business partner Valtris® Specialty Chemicals
